When I paint I am not thinking about art. When I paint I am thinking about life. The energy and emotions I have lived are transformed into strong and overwhelming pieces rich in color and excitement.
Process
Do what you love to do
I have always been searching, creating, and trying to find and fulfill the feeling of what I love doing.
I need to be in constant contact with materials, color, paint, water, and to be in permanent research on how painting enhances my own life. I try to evoke emotional topics in people.
Large Scale
I love to paint in large scale formats. There is this freedom of emotion, of great movement through the canvas. This is the best way for me to show the beauty I find in life, through my paintings, using giant, bigger than life scales in a provocative way.
White is color
In the studio trying to confirm the right brightness on whites. White is the most interesting color to represent in my work. For me white works better surrounded by a rich color palette.
